Web Wanderings

Oops, a little later than I like to be with these guys. Better late than never, right? Web Wanderings (1)

This week was quiet, but that certainly didn’t make it any less busy. I wrapped up a summer of dance classes, enjoyed some fried foods at the Allentown Fair, and had the chance to do a bit of cooking. I’m more than ready this long weekend (hello, Labor Day!), but I’ve already got my free day planned out with lots of productivity!

Amidst all the things going on this week, I had the chance to pull out a few favorites. Take a look at this week’s highlights from around the web.

  • Joffery Balley works with JW Marriott Hotels: This is an awesome little collision of worlds from me. I often think that the lessons I learned in dance classes can be applied to tons of real-life events. Okay, so maybe no one will ask you to whip out some pirouettes, but a little poise always is beneficial.
  • Hello Kitty is Not a Cat: What?! This is crazy. I was never really into the whole Hello Kitty thing, but this is an interesting perspective on the character. Reminds me of that list of what the emojis actually are, rather than what people typically use them as. (here, in case you’re curious)
  • Life Lessons From Mr. Feeny: Boy Meets World was always one of my favorite shows (I still love the episodes, no matter how many times I’ve seen them). This time of year is filled to the brim with everything back-to-school, and you’re never too old for a little advice from Mr. Feeny.

Have a great holiday weekend!
