While at Discover Lehigh Valley (DLV), Kaitie created hundreds of pieces of content for both digital and print pieces.

Visitors Guides

Printed visitors guides have been a staple in the tourism industry for years. Kaitie has experience in writing a variety of styles of content for these publications including interviews, feature stories, listicles, food & beverage content, and more.

For the The 2020 Guide to Lehigh Valley, Kaitie planned, produced, and edited all content in the 64-page publication. In addition, she developed a landing page to direct digital interactions on

For the 2019 Official Visitors Guide, Kaitie led content direction & editing through a contracted vendor. Kaitie’s original writing can be found in the outdoor recreation content section.

Blog & Website Content

Kaitie managed all content for DLV’s blog for 5+ years including topic development, creation, layout, implementation of visual assets, curation of user generated content galleries, and more. Content included listicles, business profiles, interviews, event previews, roundups, and more. Sample posts include:

Across the full website, Kaitie spearheaded content development to help create pages that would serve as landing destinations for ad campaigns, social media posts, and more. She developed city & region-specific content to showcase small businesses, museums, restaurants, outdoor recreation points, and other key attractions.

The creation of seasonal landing pages housed top relevant content pieces. Kaitie planned & produced all content featured on the page, including linked sub-pages, and created the layouts for each page in the CMS including the curated user generated content galleries for each.

To help support one of the region’s largest events, Kaitie a landing page development for Musikfest (2019 info). This page served as a landing point for ad campaigns and media hits.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kaitie spearheaded content development to help support the Lehigh Valley community. Messaging was shifted to highlight how locals can continue to interact with Lehigh Valley businesses, museums, restaurants, and attractions. The “Lehigh Valley at Home” landing page included restaurant roundups, virtual experiences, a calendar of virtual events, and more.
